I am a Designated Observer. I love to learn by observing. I also, it has been pointed out to me, love my “air time” (talking) so it makes perfect sense that I would also blog. I am the mother of a 25 year old daughter and an 22 year old son. Admittedly, there are times when we have to stop and consider just who the parent actually is.
Oh Yeah…I love Shoes! My grandmother often commented that you can tell a lot about a person by the shoes that they wear. Thus, Nice Shoes! and more life observations. (And now….for the rest of the story on how my blog got its name. Posted: May 18, 2010.)
This is a place where you can kick back…yes even kick those fabulous shoes off…and enjoy yourself. We are all friends here. As a lifetime Designated Observer, I will be sharing my thoughts and ideas with you. Some you will like, some will make you laugh, some will have you staring at your computer screen going “huh?” I will talk about my kids, my activities, my dating adventures as a Single-Mom-soon-to-be-empty-nester, my random thoughts, and generally the world as I see it through my rose colored glasses. Usually the smallest observation will provide my most thought provoking moments.
